ARIZONA HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY MEETING CANCELLED
The AZHFA Board meeting scheduled for May 9, 2013 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held on June 13, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Arizona Department of Housing. 5/6/13


NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
Information Bulletin 10-13 announces a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program combined funds to Colonias Set Aside Projects. The FY 2012/2013 Colonias Set Aside funds will be distributed in one competitive funding round and the application submission deadline is September 16, 2013 at 4:00 pm.  IB 10-13   4/19/13


CDBG APPLICATION DEADLINES EXTENDED
The Arizona Department of Housing has not yet been notified by HUD of the amount of FY2013 CDBG funding available for Arizona. Therefore, the regional application round due dates for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG have been extended.  See IB 07-13 for details. 04-16-13 


NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Arizona Department of Housing will hold a public hearing required by A.R.S. Sec. §35-726(E), on April 10, 2013 at 3:00 pm pertaining to the issuance by the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Maricopa, Arizona of collateralized multifamily revenue bonds in an amount of up to $30,000,000 to be used for the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Sycamore Creek Apartments located at 6599 E. Thomas Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Notice is hereby given that on April 5, 2013 at 11:00 am the Arizona Department of Housing will hold a Public Hearing required by A.R.S. FY 2013-2014 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED

Notice is hereby given that on April 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., the Arizona Department of Housing and the Arizona Department of Economic Security will hold a second Public Hearing to discuss the draft 2013-2014 Annual Action Plan. Comments received from the first public hearing held on October 3, 2012 at the Arizona Housing Forum were incorporated in the draft Action Plan which will be discussed at this hearing.

The Arizona Department of Housing (the Department) is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for funding through the State Housing Fund (SHF), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and/or Housing Trust Fund (HTF). This NOFA is for the new construction and the acquisition and rehabilitation of Permanent Rental Housing. NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
For FY 2010 and FY2011, ADOH expects to allocate approximately $2.4 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program combined funds to Colonias Set Aside Projects. The FY 2010/2011 Colonias Set Aside funds will be distributed in one competitive funding round and the application submission deadline is August 31, 2011 at 4 p.m. The Application Process for the Colonias funding allocation follows the CDBG SSP funding process as described in the CDBG Application Handbook (revised January 2009) with any changes or additional requirements outlined in Information Bulletin 11-11. The CDBG Application Handbook and Colonias Set Aside Rating Tool form can be obtained from the ADOH website. IB 11-11 5-10-11

NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
ADOH announces a NOFA for funding through the State Housing Fund which is comprised of the HOME program and the Housing Trust Fund (HTF). This NOFA is for the preservation of existing and/or the development of affordable multi-family rental properties (permanent and transitional). For FY2011, the Department expects to allocate approximately $4,000,000 in SHF. The application process can be found in the Program Summary and Application Guide in Forms and Handbooks or see Information Bulletin 11-10 dated August 26, 2010. Submission deadline: November 30, 2010 at 4:00 pm.
